Simple Geometric Game Board Model Pack

A set of 14 realistically-sized and proportioned tabletop game board models. All boards are styled after the design of a real Chess/Checkers (8x8 cell) board, a replica of which is included.

For use in games or other 3D renders, personal or commercial, no credit needed.

Features:

Each game board is designed to be easily customizable, with multiple material slots for different parts of the mesh:

• The base material slot, for the majority of the model surface
• The outline material slot, for the outline of the cell pattern
• The material slot for "primary" cells
• The material slot for "secondary" cells
• For the game boards with hexagonal cells: An extra material slot for "tertiary" cells

The board patterns (including all individual cells and the pattern outline) are produced through the mesh geometry itself. I've designed the models to be a low-poly as possible while maintaining the board style and this mesh geometry.

Each model was also provided with simple UV mapping, generated using the Blender 3D modeling software's "Smart UV Project" feature.

• 4 cross-patterned boards with square cells, comprised of 2 styles (beveled and non-beveled board edges)

• 1 star-patterned board with hexagonal cells
- [mesh has 800 triangles]
