Public Announcement of Complete Defeat


I must say, I've been making AMAZING progress!.. On... various projects which aren't Test Project Githo...

Today was the the previously planned release date of Test Project Githo version 1.0.0, but now we're only updating to version 0.0.11, which, most notably... uh, removes the minigame?!?

Oh, never mind, the new update doesn't remove the minigame; it merely adds a handy-dandy HAND that blocks the player from pressing the "Start" button!

Pretty cool feature, right?


Anyhoo, I'm ditching the whole "deadline" mindset for Test Project Githo for the time being.

Poor management of smaller goal deadline-setting... But maybe this post's title was a slight exaggeration.

I'll instead be going with an earlier-ideated strategy of simply alternating between designing Test Project Githo and another project (which I happen to be more generally enthused about).

I just need to plan out my updates for that other project more efficiently, and not overscope them so much.

One update for Test Project Githo, one update for my Minecraft mod, rinse and repeat, ad infinitum.


On the Test Project Githo side, I HAVE been developing some decent milestones, just not properly allocating the time to work on them.

NOW, however, I shall start counting how many remaining development milestones I complete, and I'll be posting a progress update here no less frequently than once a month until the eventual release of version 1.0.0.

Starting now, I'm at 0 / ~15 milestones!
